About



Emma Martin (b.2000, she/they) is a documentary and art photographer.

Graduating with a First Class Honours from the BA Photography programme at UAL LCC in 2022, Emma brings a diverse approach to image making that sees her juxtapose traditional darkroom and analogue practices with experimental techniques. In her ongoing personal work she looking at the interrelationships between people and their enviroments. She is interested in forms, place and memory, and has recently turned to folklore as inspiration for her visual storytelling.

She also has been working with found photography and curation since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, when she began her eBay Archives work.
